Last night at the symphony, I tried drawing the cellos and basses as I was sitting close to them. This was the results
Kathy, I was able to borrow the nature book you are using from my library. It looks very interesting. It will probably go back to be borrowed another time though. Finding other interesting books is what gets me side tracked from finishing this one.

Oh the posemaniacs looks like fun fun, though even after all the figure drawing I have been doing, I am not sure I want to tackle the 30 second poses. Great site. I don’t think that it matters what book you use to develop your drawing skills. As long as you are consistently drawing and working at developing those abilities, that is what counts. Ms Leslie’s book works for me as nature drawing is what I love to do, and where I want to develop my skills. Just don’t let any book side track your actual drawing efforts.
